I had been connected to DSL via a Pulsar card in my main Raq and had last authenticated when 2.0.0 came out. Meanwhile the authentication server is causing problems and I never knew it until I rebooted for the new kernel from the 2.0.2 update I posted, thus disconnecting and then trying to reconnect on bootup.

Since I may use this opportunity to switch to another reseller that will allow me to bond four lines and I have shiny new Solos PCI Quad modem, I went ahead and took the Pulsar out and put the Solos in. Meanwhile I just am bridging a Westell 7500 external dsl modem until my current isp sorts this out. I'm not under contract any longer so......

It's going to take a bit of work to get a web gui setup for the solos. Fortunately with the sysfs bonding multiple adsl or any connections is not that difficult. The ISP I am looking at will give me a static address plus bonding so it'll be interesting. There is also a newer solos driver and cli utility sourceball available. I'll submit a patch later. I'm working today, I have a Korean Air 777-300 I am loading software into today and it delivers tomorrow. Otherwise I'd be home working on some of this stuff. I get paid double on Sunday anyway.

I am using my T-Mobile HSPA in my other Raq to keep me going but I need to raise the cap. 2GB is not enough for what I do. I might as well get 10GB. T-mobile slows down to about 130kbs once the cap is reached but they don't cut you off. This method which encourages you to simply buy a larger plan or charging for extra data like the other ISP's do is purely a money making scheme. Sigh..............

For no apparent reason, my dsl started working when I got home from work last night. Nobody has come forward and told me who fixed it. Weird.
