DOM's?

has anyone here tried 1-2gig DOM's in their RAQ's? i prefer these over the CF/IDEtoCF solution as DOM's can support MANY more write cycles.

I've got a 512 MB DOM in RaQ4. Can't see a reason why a 1-2 GB (or larger) will not work 

40 pin (with 4 pin standard power connector), first fitted on IDE2 so I could flash it (as /dev/hdc) than swapped to IDE1 to use it 

I still prefer to use Dave's flash optimized images for it, very easy to install and with write reduction inplace, the DOM will probably easily out-live the RaQ unit.

I wasn't aware that you were using a DOM, nice to have the second ide per your method.

  so what if you've got a raq 3 with only 1 ide? will that just work without any swapping?

Of course, image a flash image to it provided you have a DOM the same size as the images.

You can also use a small Image on a larger DOM.
