Hey all,
I read in another post that adding a usb port to a velociraptor is as simple as soldering on the appropriate jack.

Can anyone confirm that's the case and has anyone actually done it?   Pictures available?

Thanks a bunch!

Sorry about the lag in response here.

Hadn't done it yet so I have no proof. I need to get the surface mount resistor and capacitor value as well as the jack itself. I have some time, I'll look into it. The only reason Symantec even put a pci slot in was to be able to put two more ethernet ports in it or they would have omitted that too. I too want my usb ports on my two raptors, it makes backups much easier.

I'm sure it has been done but I have not done so yet.
